This monitor is very sharp and the refresh rate is top notch. The halo effect on it during dark screens is very noticeable in a dark room but I have gotten used to it at this point. It is quite heavy and I use a pneumatic desk mount, which required some adjustment to make it sit correctly without resting on the desk. The extra USB's on the back are a nice feature. The monitor did not advertise the hex panel lighting on the back very clearly but the ability to adjust the color glow is another useful feature.
